Human Rights and International Adult Learners Week (Promo graphic)The Canadian Council on Learning's Adult Learning Knowledge Centre, in partnership with Canadian Commission for UNESCO, is pleased to launch three posters to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The posters, celebrating the joy, power, and transformative capacity of learning, will usher in International Adult Learners Week, March 2-8, 2009.

Representatives from arts, international development, and adult learning communities selected three winning designs from portfolios submitted by 60 diverse artists from across the country. The posters make a dynamic visual connection between human rights and learning.

Les affiches, qui font valoir la joie, le pouvoir et la capacité de transformation de l’apprentissage, seront présentées durant la Semaine internationale des apprenants adultes, du 2 au 8 mars 2009.
