Event Description

CCL's Terri Thompson will be conducting a one-day, hands-on workshop called: Being Systematic: Locating Research about Learning. The workshop is designed for graduate students who are interested in locating research about learning across the life-span. Together we will:

  • Identify databases of particular relevance to learning;
  • Learn how to develop a comprehensive, yet specific search strategy;
  • Increase the effectiveness, efficiency and inclusivity of searches;
  • Learn how to document and manage searches;
  • Learn how to utilize citation management programs.
