The National Child Day Forum, hosted by Healthy Child Manitoba with community partners, has become an annual tradition providing an opportunity for community partners from across the province to gather for two days of networking and learning together about the latest research on early child development.

The goal for this event is to increase our understanding of the importance of healthy social and emotional development, and how we can better nurture the children and families in our communities.

Learning to live together

Workshop presented by the Centre of Excellence for Early Childhood Development and the Early childhood learning Knowledge Center.

This workshop aims to highlight the importance of social and emotional development in young children ant its impact on their lifelong learning. Participants will be invited to learn about both how these social and emotional skills develop in young children, and how they (and their parents) can be guided in learning these skills.
