CCL launches its Adult Learning Knowledge Centre
The Canadian Council on Learning is launching its Adult Learning Knowledge Centre at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at the Wu Conference Centre, University of New Brunswick (UNB) in Fredericton. The launch of the Knowledge Centre coincides with the beginning of International Adult Learners’ Week, which will be celebrated worldwide from September 8 to September 13. CCL launches 21st Century Learning Initiative in Canada
CCL is supporting the 21st Century Learning Initiative in Canada by sponsoring a conference, Learning and the Community, September 12 and 13, 2005, at the Toronto Hilton. John Abbott, (bio pop up) President of the Initiative, will introduce the ideas and concepts of the 21st Century Learning Initiative to the educational leaders from the public, private and non-profit sectors.
