As announced in the fall of 2011, CCL will close its doors permanently in the spring of 2012.
CCL deeply appreciates all the support it has received from employees, volunteers and stakeholders since its inception in 2004 and extends heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to its success.
Access to quality data is essential to researchers, academics and others working in the field of learning in Canada. To address this need CCL has developed a comprehensive online Data Warehouse that provides educators, researchers, policy-makers and the general public with free access to the majority of CCL’s research data used over the past six years.
This warehouse includes all of the indicators used in CCL’s State of Learning in Canada reports (2007, 2008, 2009-2010) and CCL’s reports on the State of Post-secondary Education in Canada (2006, 2007, 2008-2009). In addition, some of the data has been updated with new previously unpublished information.
In order to access this information quickly and easily, the data has been organized into four thematic categories:
Each category includes a list of various indicators and links to Excel files including the data in question.
Currently most of the data CCL relies on is obtained from Statistics Canada. Other data is exclusive to the CCL and is built using information supplied by various sources including: Elections Canada, Industry Canada, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), NAVTEQ and Desktop Mapping Technologies Incorporated (DMTI).
This data is intended to be used for academic or con-commercial purposes. Users of this data are forbidden to copy this material or distribute it in an original or modified form for commercial purposes.
