Welcome to the Journal of Applied Research on Learning (JARL), a biannual research publication for the Canadian Council on Learning that addresses specific, practical problems affecting learning in Canada and applied research of significance to learning in Canada.
As one of several restructuring measures, CCL announced that it would no longer be publishing JARL. CCL deeply appreciates the valuable work and expertise of CCL staff that went into the publication over the years.

While opinions on these matters have clashed and will undoubtedly continue to differ, it is hard to dispute the notion that our ability, willingness, and desire to learn are fundamental to our nature.
