This Question Scan asks whether labour market dynamics help to inform student financial aid policies in post-secondary institutions or shorter programs, including those two years or less?

A search of the literature and relevant websites and search engines revealed very little literature about this topic. The few articles identified are descriptive rather than evaluative or analytical, and address using student aid to assist students/dislocated workers to enrol in short term PSE programs.

We found no articles that focus specifically on issues associated with the relationship between labour market dynamics and student financial aid policies.

With so little empirical literature, a further review of evidence is not suggested.
