2e Colloque en alphabétisation familiale de la FCAF
« Un choix pour la vitalité des communautés »

Event Description

The Fédération canadienne pour l’alphabétisation en français (FCAF) will hold its 2nd Symposium on Family Literacy on March 6 and 7, in Ottawa. The theme of the symposium is A choice for dynamic communities. With more than 20 presentations, the FCAF intends to reach the complete spectrum of stakeholders involved with children, parents and families. The symposium will bring together people from different fields of activity: literacy educators; parents; professionals working in education, health, social and community services and early childhood education; and managers, academics, students and literacy stakeholders, particularly those active in the area of family literacy.

Symposium Objectives
• To share and exchange knowledge and expertise;
• To equip participants with family literacy tools through the Place du marché, Foire des exposants, and workshop contents;
• To provide networking opportunities;
• To increase the visibility of family literacy in the community and in policy-making.

The Early Childhood Learning Knowledge Centre  is part of the organizing committee and will have a booth at this event.
