Event Description

Tracy Lavin will be conducting a half-day workshop on Using large scale data sets to conduct research on learning in Canada. The workshop will include the following elements:

  • Overview of available data sets
  • Variable analysis for selected data sets with hands-on practice
  • Gaining access to Statistics Canada data using
    • Custom tables
    • Public use micro files (PUMF)
    • Remote access
