Preview of CCL’s Composite Learning Index now available online
CCL has launched a mini website for its Composite Learning Index in order to engage interested parties in the development of the index. The pages feature an interactive Q&A page, a video of an introductory presentation made on January 18, 2006, a blog by members of the development team, background documents and links to related sites. We encourage you to offer your comments and suggestions through the site about the Composite Learning Index.
Report on National Dialogue on Aboriginal Learning now available
CCL’s National Dialogue on Aboriginal Learning, on November 13 and 14, 2005, brought together over 120 Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal leaders involved in education to discuss the creation of CCL’s Aboriginal Learning Knowledge Centre. This event provided the opportunity for Aboriginal leaders representing First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, as well as non-Aboriginal leaders, to explore the potential of an Aboriginal Learning Knowledge Centre in terms of research, knowledge exchange, monitoring and reporting. The report (PDF, 344 KB) summarizes the discussions and recommendations.
