CCL posts Quality Assurance in Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition — Issues and Strategies for Post-secondary Institutions
The Canadian Institute for Recognizing Learning and its post-secondary partners have developed—with funding from CCL—three new resources for educators, student advisors, administrators and researchers to ensure the quality of the PLAR process used by many post-secondary institutions in Canada. The Minerva Lecture Series
CCL's third scholar in its Minerva Lecture Series, Dr. Dale Kirby, is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Memorial University of Newfoundland. His presentation, entitled Post-secondary Education 2.0: New Millennium, New Students, New Directions, will debut in Montreal on Feb. 19, 2008, and will be followed by lectures in Saint John, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Calgary and Charlottetown.
