As announced in the fall of 2011, CCL will close its doors permanently in the spring of 2012.
CCL deeply appreciates all the support it has received from employees, volunteers and stakeholders since its inception in 2004 and extends heartfelt thanks to all those who have contributed to its success.
CCL’s online literacy assessments offered insight into the numeracy, prose and document skill levels of Canadians aged 16 and older.
It also helped connect people with available literacy resources.
Please note that the online literacy assessments are no longer available on the CCL website.
For learners to achieve their goals, it is important to understand their strengths and weaknesses.
Assessment provides information that will help learners, and enable literacy practitioners to develop effective programs.
Look in your local Yellow Pages under “Learn,” or consult the National Adult Literacy Database (NALD).
