The CCL produces and publishes other reports on different aspects of learning for partner organizations. As well, CCL commissions other organizations to produce reports.

The Impact of Experiential Learning Programs on Student Success

Experiential learning complements students’ academic learning and provides youth with experiences and knowledge that maximize their growth and development while meeting their needs for career exploration.

CCL was contracted by the Ontario Ministry of Education to undertake a systematic rapid evidence assessment (SREA) of the research literature devoted to examining the effects of experiential learning (EL) programs on student success.

Where Did They Go? April 2009 The “Where Did They Go?” study, co-funded by the British Columbia Council on Admissions and Transfer (BCCAT) and the Canadian Council on Learning, was designed to complement research undertaken under the auspices of the Student Transitions Project (STP) which has tracked the public post-secondary participation of B.C. high-school graduates from 2002–2003 to the present.

An Exploration of Work and Learning Opportunities in New Brunswick, October 2007 Work and learning opportunities for post-secondary students abound in New Brunswick. Whether they are mandatory internships, field practicums, or optional work terms within a co-operative education program, there are numerous ways students can gain work-related experience while pursuing their post-secondary credentials. There are also a multitude of benefits for students, employers, academic institutions, and society at large that derive from participation in work and learning opportunities.
